- New: Choose whether quitting BetterStage keeps every window at its Stage position or arranges windows into compact stacks by display. Keeping Stage positions is now the default. - Improved: AI Staging can recover valid actions from imperfect model responses containing extra text, missing markers, comments, trailing commas, or safely repairable truncated JSON. - Improved: Saved Workspace loading, Undo, and Offline Display conversion now preserve recovery state more reliably and report persistence failures clearly. - Improved: App Routing now creates missing destination Stages only when a matching window opens, while preserving correct behavior when Follow is disabled or the destination is unavailable. - Improved: Reset All Settings now refreshes display, updater, routing, shortcut, layout, Snap Wheel, Continuity, and AI preferences without removing Stages, Saved Workspaces, or license data. - Fixed: Relaunching BetterStage now restores windows opened or closed while it was not running, removes empty Bento Box slots, and returns selected Tabbed Layout windows to their panes without requiring a manual nudge. - Fixed: Tabbed Layout restores hidden tabs more reliably, prevents blank or duplicated panes, keeps Next and Previous Tab actions inside the current pane, and does nothing when that pane contains only one tab. - Fixed: Retile and hidden-window recovery no longer strand, expose, or incorrectly move windows across Stages, Pinned Displays, Offline Workspaces, or adjacent displays. - Fixed: Bento Box and Tabbed Layout now recover automatically after display resolution or usable-area changes without requiring a click or window movement. - Fixed: Mission Control and App Exposé no longer cause BetterStage-managed window thumbnails to move continuously. - Fixed: Rapid Stage switching is now last-input-wins, and Option-scroll continues working while the pointer is over the Stages Bar. - Fixed: Bento Box and Tabbed Layout resize handles remain accessible across the full divider area and stay visible after dragging while the pointer remains over the divider. - Fixed: BetterStage no longer crashes when Snap Wheel is opened immediately after reactivating Pro on macOS 27.
