Set up in three steps

Install

Open BetterStage.dmg and drag the app to your Applications folder. It lives in the menu bar.

Grant one permission

Allow Accessibility in System Settings for window management. No SIP disable, no restart. A visible Terminal Custom Action may request Automation when you use it.

Arrange your first workspace

During Pro access, choose TabStack from Window Modes. Open your editor and browser, then drag a window to a pane’s center to join its tabs or to an edge to split. On Free, start with snap zones and three stages.
