How to choose an AI provider

Steps

   Open Settings → AI Staging and pick a provider (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Groq, Ollama, LM Studio, BetterStage AI, Custom, and others).

   For a BYO key: paste the API key, set model/endpoint if asked, click Test connection, then Save. Drafts are not auto-saved.

3. 3

   For Ollama or LM Studio, no key is required — still click Save. BetterStage AI is managed and has no key fields.

   You can also switch provider from the AI Staging panel footer.
