How to move a license to another Mac

Steps

On the Mac you are leaving, open Settings → License → Device and click Deactivate on this Mac (paid licenses only; trials cannot be moved this way).

On the new Mac, open Settings → License, click Activate License, and enter the same BS- key.

If the device limit is reached, deactivate or remove another device from the License page or your account dashboard first.

Each activation uses one seat. Deactivating frees that seat — it does not add extra slots.
