DockDoor
What happens: Some DockDoor window previews appear as a thin strip instead of a full thumbnail, especially for a window on another Stage or an inactive TabStack tab.
Why: BetterStage 2.0.x hid windows from other Stages by moving them just beyond the display edge, and DockDoor could capture the narrow part still visible there. We reproduced this with DockDoor Free; a DockDoor Pro report showed the same symptom. Excluding DockDoor from BetterStage did not change the position of the windows DockDoor previews.
In 2.2: BetterStage now keeps windows from other Stages in private Spaces instead of at the display edge, which removes the cause described above. We have not yet re-tested DockDoor against 2.2, so if you still see strip-shaped previews after updating, please tell us.
Workaround on 2.0.x
In DockDoor, open Advanced and turn on Enable Live Preview (Video). This switches DockDoor from static thumbnails to live window capture. Live previews may use more system resources.
