How to choose layout behavior for one window

Target the window with Snap Wheel, then open More Actions → Window Behavior.

Choose Automatic to use normal detection, Manage in Layout to include the window, or Keep Floating to leave it outside the managed layout.

To handle similar windows the same way in future, create a window behavior rule from this menu and review what it matches before saving.
Some apps use nonstandard windows, such as floating tool panels or custom interfaces. Use a window-specific choice when automatic detection does not match your intent. This is separate from excluding an entire app from Staging.
