Try TabStack with a Daily Pro Preview
You can explore Pro without leaving the Free tier. Eligible Macs can start a 15-minute preview every 24 hours. Use that time to try panes and tabs with a few windows from your everyday work.

Step by step

Start the preview
Open a Pro feature and choose Try Pro for 15 minutes when the offer appears. Wait for the preview to start and check its countdown.

Try TabStack
Switch the display to TabStack from the BetterStage menu bar or Snap Wheel → Window Modes. Try joining windows into tabs and splitting a pane. Drag a tab horizontally out of its bar, then drop it onto another pane’s tab bar to join.

Tune the drop zones
In Window Modes → Modes & Behavior, adjust Split drop zone size and watch the preview. Set 0% to disable Split, or turn Enable Swap drop zone off independently. Holding Option while dragging still lets you swap.

Handle an unusual window
If a custom app window does not join as expected, open its Snap Wheel → More Actions → Window Behavior. Choose Manage in Layout or Keep Floating to match your intent, or Automatic to follow detection and rules.

Choose what works for you
Watch the countdown as you try Pro. Your Free tier applies outside the preview. Another preview is available 24 hours after the previous one started, or you can buy Pro for uninterrupted access.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as the 7-day trial?
No. The daily 15-minute preview is a separate offer for eligible Macs using Free. Its 24-hour interval starts when you begin a preview, rather than resetting at midnight.
Does the preview include paid AI credits?
No. AI Staging still needs your own provider setup or a separate BetterStage AI plan.
