How to customize TabStack appearance
Steps

Open Settings → Window Modes → Appearance.

Pick Layout Style Comfortable, Compact, or Custom, then adjust gap, screen padding, pane padding, opacity, and tab bar.

Under Tab Appearance, set Tab width to Compact or Expanded and pick an Active tab color. Editing a slider moves Layout Style to Custom.

Reset under Resize Interaction only resets the drag handle. These controls are not the Pane Behavior toggles.
