How to customize TabStack appearance

Steps

Open Settings → Window Modes → Appearance.

Pick Layout Style Comfortable, Compact, or Custom, then adjust gap, screen padding, pane padding, opacity, and tab bar.

Under Tab Appearance, set tab width and height, active tab color, active and inactive text colors, and empty-pane close button visibility. Editing a slider moves Layout Style to Custom; Reset to Defaults restores this section.

Reset under Resize Interaction only resets the drag handle. These controls are not the Pane Behavior toggles.
